Lisa McNulty is a dedicated educator with a passion for mathematics and personal development. Since beginning her teaching career in 2002 as a college lecturer, she has expanded her expertise to schools and pupil referral units. Currently, she teaches mathematics, mindfulness, macramé, and a love for nature with Targeted Provision.Lisa holds a rich background in personal development, being a trainer of Neuro-Linguistic Programming and a professional life coach. Originally from Dublin, Ireland, she has resided in Ipswich since 2003. Her volunteer work includes teaching at Karibu’s Saturday school and serving as the Designated Safeguarding Lead at Community Hub Ipswich.Lisa is also the president of Ipswich Speakers Club. Her hobbies include collecting stinging nettles for tea and cordage, making jewelry, drumming with Alplique, storytelling, and spending time in the woods.

Robert Grace is an admin volunteer who was born in Suffolk. He is linked to the African community through marriage. His late wife volunteered for Karibu for many years as an organiser, counsellor and caterer.
Stephen Kirby has been a volunteer with Karibu since 2009. The time has flown by and Stephen has been involved in many activities over the years such as cooking, sewing, dancing, florestry as wll as helping out at the soup kitchen and at International Women's Day. Over this time Stephen ha met and made friends with many interesting people, service users, teachers and colleagues.

Mark Trewartha is our Djembe Drum doctor. He has gifted Karibu with many drums and continues to keep them in tip top condition. He is also a very willing volunteer, giving up his time to teach children and adults the African culture of drumming.
