About Karibu African Support Group
Karibu African Support Group is a community-led organization that supports African individuals and families across Suffolk young people, adults, and elders alike. Our name, “Karibu”, means “welcome” and that spirit guides everything we do. At Karibu, we believe in welcome, belonging, and empowerment. Based in Ipswich and Suffolk, we provide information, advice, support, and counselling to African individuals and families from diverse backgrounds. We promote awareness of cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity for statutory, voluntary organisations, and the wider community.
